The last time UND played a men’s hockey game in Canada was Dec. 30, 1953, when the Sioux lost a pair of games in Fort Frances, Ont. The last time the Sioux played outside of the United States was Dec. 29, 1982, when they competed in the Spengler Cup in Switzerland.
Is this going to be played at the MTS Centre?
Wasn’t this game supposed to feature UNO?
Yes, Omaha backed out.
Hey Brad,
A Miami Redhawk blogger is saying Notre Dame & RPI to Hockey East. Hopefully, it isn’t incorrect. If true though, this absolutely explains the quick invites to Western Michigan and St. Cloud.

Woops! Messed up on my wording. I hope it isn’t correct*. Doh.
I hope this rumor isn’t true as it seems this could hurt the chances of a national television contract for NCHC.
