You got me stumped. When did Bill Trew play for the sioux?
Mid-1990′s, he played at the University of Minnesota-Crookston (junior college) for two years and then transferred to UND.
94-95 & 95-96 Seasons. Played at UMC before that.
Mid-90′s.
I thought Chorney was with the Blues org and not Edmonton anymore.
Stafford is with the Sabres.
Did Stafford get traded?
My bad, don’t know how that happened.
glad to see people really know Sioux history…..
Forney is with the Chicago Wolves of the AHL.
Forney plays with Marto in Colorado of the ECHL
Brad,
Did you hear that Jason Blake is sidelined a few months after getting cut by a skate on his forearm? He’s lucky. It could have been a lot worse. Hope he can recover and get back in the lineup with the Ducks.
Brian Lee was released by the Senators a while back. I’m not sure but I don’t think anyone has picked him up.
I stand corrected. He’s still on the roster.
Did anyone else laugh at Bina’s team? I find the Grizzly Adams part absolutely hilarious!
Everyone – it’s not what team they play for, it’s where they signed a contract. There is a difference.
I’ve been maintaing a roster of former Sioux playing professionally with regularly updated stats if anyone’s interested. The only league that I don’t get regularly updated stats for is the ECHL, but I’m trying to work that out. Like Sara said, Brad’s list includes the team the player originally signed the contract with, while my list includes the team they are currently playing for. Click on the “Sioux in the Pros 2011-12″ link at the following address:

ECHL stats should now be updating regularly. I labeled a few players as “currently unsigned,” such as Ryan Johnson. They played last season professionally but I’m unaware of them signing anywhere for this season, so if anyone has any info let me know and I’ll get it updated.
Also, there’s a link on the Future page if you want to see committed recruit stats.
I can’t find Evan Trupp lised on the Cyclones roster. Did he leave the team??
He’s on injured reserved. Second paragraph into the following:

Brad, what is David Hale doing now that the has retired? Is he working with the hockey team?
I don’t know what his exact role is, but I’ve seen him around the rink.
