Nebraska-Omaha junior Terry Broadhurst has signed with the Chicago Blackhawks, giving up his final year of college eligibility.
Broadhurst scored 16 goals and had 36 points in 38 games this season for the Mavericks. He started out the season red hot but cooled as the Mavericks struggled down the stretch. He was the team’s second-leading scorer behind sophomore Matt White.
Broadhurst’s brother, Alex, was drafted by the Hawks in the seventh round last summer.

Good for Broadhurst. Very underrated player with a lot of speed and talent. Hope it was the right move for him.
