Former Hobey Baker Award winner Ryan Duncan was cut across his face by a skate last night and the forward said it took 45 stitches and four-and-a-half hours to fix it.
Duncan had two assists in the game before getting cut.
He posted a picture of himself here.
Duncan has 32 points in 55 games this season for the Portland Pirates in the AHL. Portland is in 12th in its conference but only two points out of eighth place.
