St. Cloud State junior forward David Eddy is signing an NHL contract with the Calgary Flames, giving up his final year of college eligibility, the St. Cloud Times reported.
Eddy was the sixth-leading scorer for the Huskies this season, tallying nine goals and 25 points in 39 games.
St. Cloud State’s season ended Thursday with a loss to UND in the WCHA Final Five. Eddy was expected to be a key player returning for the Huskies next season.
