UND’s Travis Zajac pulled off a backhand wraparound that would even make Michael Parks proud. What makes this goal even more impressive is that while wrapping it with his backhand, he somehow manages to lift the puck over the pad of Philly goalie Ilya Bryzgalov. The goal helped New Jersey to a 4-1 win in Game 2 of the series, which is tied.
Zajac leads New Jersey with 8 points in the playoffs. UND’s Zach Parise is second with 7.
It was lifted because it hit the flyers players stick. Still a great effort for Zajac though, well done.
Good catch. I didn’t even notice that Gustafsson got his blade in there.
You should put up Oshie’s hit from Monday on Dustin Penner for those who haven’t seen it.
Sounds good.
Sounded good from TJ’s side. Not so much for the Penner. OUCH!
