Three Recruits To Play In USHL Top Prospects Game

A trio of UND recruits — including two from Greater Grand Forks — will play in the USHL Top Prospects Game in Muskegon, Mich., on Jan. 23. The main purpose of the game is to showcase draft eligible players to NHL scouts.

Luke Johnson (Grand Forks), Tucker Poolman (East Grand Forks) and Luke Voltin (Blaine) are on the roster for the game.

Johnson, a 1994-born forward for the Lincoln Stars, has 17 points in 23 games (including 14 points in the last 15 games).

Poolman, a 1993-born defenseman for the Omaha Lancers, has 7 goals and 13 points in 30 games.

Voltin, a 1995-born forward for the Des Moines Bucs, has 14 points in 31 games.
