The disorderly conduct charge against WCHA referee Peter Friesema for causing a bomb scare at the Anchorage airport has been dropped by the prosecution.
Both Alaska court records and the office of Friesema’s defense attorney confirmed the development to the Herald.

Friesema was suspended indefinitely by the WCHA at the time of the incident and has not reffed a game since. No word yet whether he will be reinstated.
