LaDue sets Stars record

UND defenseman recruit Paul LaDue, a former Grand Forks Central product, set the Lincoln Stars’ franchise record for all-time points by a defenseman this week.

LaDue, who will attend UND next season, has 70 points in 100 games. He is the top defenseman scorer in the USHL this season with 36 points in 44 games. LaDue also has a plus-17 rating.

LaDue broke the record in style by scoring the game-tying goal Thursday night for the Stars against Tri City. Lincoln trailed in the game 5-2, but rallied to win 6-5 in a shootout. LaDue also scored in the shootout.

  1. Why not post the TV telecast sooner? Does direct TV wait till the last minute to decide what to telecast? Watched my first Through these doors. Where did you “DIG” up the narrator, call me.
