The UND women’s team practiced today despite not having lights at Ralph Engelstad Arena because of a power outage.
A blizzard caused temps to drop to -6 and -31 windchill on Tuesday afternoon, but the power outage apparently was not weather related.
The men’s team originally thought about moving practice to Purpur Arena, but power was restored by 2:45 p.m. and they still held practice at The Ralph.

Brad-Good morning. An idea to present to Coach H or Coach I and the AD. A recent GFH article said that Clint Romesha-ND Medal of Honor winner-and his family of Minot have become big hockey fans. It would be a great gesture on the part of UND to have Clint Romesha drop a ceremonial puck at one of the upcoming playoff games and shake hands with the Captains and Refs. Perhaps even present a small token of some type to them. Thanks!
This is the “best” idea I’ve seen online in a long time!!!!!!!!!
Personalized jerseys would be an awesome gesture to his family. Get on it, UND.
