UND is back in the NCAA tournament and headed to a familiar place — Ridder Arena to take on undefeated Minnesota.
UND will be the No. 8 seed and take on No. 1 Minnesota in a quarterfinal game at 4 p.m. Saturday. The winner will advance to the Frozen Four, which also will be held at Ridder Arena the following week.
Minnesota has a 5-0 record against UND, including Saturday’s 2-0 win over North Dakota in the WCHA championship game.
Last year, UND made the NCAA tournament, but lost to the Gophers in Ridder Arena in the quarterfinals.

Can/will UND bid to host anything?
I think that a couple years ago UND put in a bid for the women’s Frozen Four, but that was during the head of the nickname/logo issues.
Going 1 and 5 against a team never sounded so good
Do you belive in miracles? YES!
One last chance to beat the gophers when it counts most!! Go get em’ Fighting Sioux ladies!! Good Luck!
It’s extremely difficult to beat the same team 6 times in the same year. We’ve got ‘em right where we want ‘em!
That’s the spirit! Why not, though? They’ve played some competitive games with them. They have as good of a shot as any team to beat the Gophers.

Yep!
Does RR approve?
Any chance we can get Rocco to shave, put a wig on and insert him in UND’s lineup against the Gophers on Saturday?
I thought they already tried that.
In it to WIN it!!!
What pure JOY it would be to have the Sioux beat the Gophers in this one.
They probably wouldn’t play use for years…….just like the boys
They should be in opposite sides. This should be the final game.
