Budish Turns Pro

A second Minnesota player in as many days has turned pro early.

Gopher captain Zach Budish has signed a two-year deal with the Nashville Predators, giving up his final year of eligibility.

While Budish is a junior, he has spent four years at Minnesota already. He was injured in a moped accident earlier in his career and received a medical redshirt.

Budish had 14 goals and 36 points for the Gophers last season.
