Central Scouting’s final 2013 draft rankings

The NHL’s Central Scouting Bureau released its final rankings for the 2013 NHL draft and three UND recruits are on the list.

Forward Adam Tambellini is the highest-rated player at No. 42. Defenseman Keaton Thompson of Devils Lake checks in at No. 53. Forward Luke Johnson of Grand Forks is at No. 96.

Also of note, uncommitted defenseman Gage Ausmus of East Grand Forks is at No. 148. Another uncommitted player who is being pursued by a lot of schools in the area, Grand Rapids forward Avery Peterson, is at No. 77.

The top-rated college player is Boston College defenseman recruit Ian McCoshen at No. 24.

  1. Does UND have any interest/chance of getting Avery Petterson? Seems strange for a player ranked that high to still be uncommitted….unless he’s not coming to college in the fall?
