Blais, Megna Suspended For NCAA Violation

Nebraska Omaha coach Dean Blais and standout defenseman Jaycob Megna have been suspended for three games due to an NCAA violation, according to the Omaha World Herald.

The paper reported that Blais gave Megna $400 for a new watch after Megna’s $400 watch was stolen out of the locker room.

Blais and Megna will miss Omaha’s nonconference series at New Hampshire on Jan. 3-4, as well as the series opener of a home series against Duluth on Jan. 10.

3 games… WTF. How did this story even get made public! Awfully nice of Deaner to do that for the guy. Hopefully it wasn’t a teammate that took it from him
