UND forward Michelle Karvinen is among the top scorers at the Olympic Games after the pool play round has ended.
Karvinen has four points in three games and trails only U.S. forward Hilary Knight (five points) in scoring at this point in the tournament.
Susanna Tapani and Jocelyne Lamoureux are tied for seventh.
Karvinen had 2 goals and 1 assist in a 4-3 win Wednesday over Switzerland to help the Finns clinch the No. 3 seed out of Pool A.
You know she had a good game when you check the wire to see if there are any photos and you find 31 of them. Karvinen must be taking Matt Greene’s advice and scouting camera angles.
