Greene hammering out Cup plans

Matt Greene is working on plans for his day with the Stanley Cup.

That day will happen in Grand Forks.

The former UND captain will bring the trophy to his old college city in mid-August. The date is expected to be Aug. 11 or Aug. 12. He is still working on the details of his trip and day with the Cup. They are expected to be announced at a later date.

Here’s the story on the Herald’s site.

  1. Matt Greene = class act. What a great example for any current and future Sioux players.

  2. Matt Greene we love you buddy! Total class through and through. Keep doing it how it should be done! Hope i get the chance to shake your hand some day and say thanks.

  3. UND better not run out of Black LA King GREENE Jerseys this year :)

They could order 1,000 of them and they will ALL be gone.

  4. Hopefully Greeno can bring the cup to Bismarck for the Sioux-per Swing golf tourney on Aug 12!
